2014 Resolutions

1. Be happy
2. Be healthy
3. Control our finances
4. Live in the moment
5. Know when to let go
6. Work hard. Play hard.

Sounds easy and simple right? NOT! I will explain in future posts how I plan to incorporate these into my home. I love the idea of becoming better each year but hate feeling like a failure if I don't accomplish everything I set out to do.

2013 was a tough year for me. We moved from Florida to Texas, left one side of family and moved closer to another side. We changed schools, churches (building and ward), friends, etc. Kempton had two job changes. And I had a five year-old, a three year-old and an (almost) one year-old. To say that 2013 kicked my butt is an understatement! Looking back though, some of our greatest trials turned out to be blessings, even though they didn't seem that way at the time! Funny how life works out that way.

Now on to 2014...trying to become a little better and learning from the past. Here we go! (deep breath...)
