My Grandpa

My grandpa recently passed away. This picture is from the last time that I saw him in 2008. I was there (in California) for Kendall & Halie's wedding. While on that trip I lost my digital camera (this was pre-iphone). I was devastated. I turned into a crazy woman trying to find it. I called every place I had been but no one had it. Then one morning I decided to call a place that I had already called. They had it! I was so happy. Little did I know that those pictures from that trip would be the last pictures I would take with my Grandpa. 

Life gets busy and the summer after that trip we moved to Florida, which is the opposite coast as my grandparents. More babies came and several moves and the trip to California just seemed too far away. My heart hurts that I didn't get to spend more time with him. But I know that he is in a better place now. 

I love you Grandpa. God be with US 'til we meet again.
