Today

I woke up wishing I was in Utah.
I wished I could rewind 12 or so years ago.
When every other summer we would pack up our mini-van, leave the Texas heat, and drive to Utah for two weeks.
To spend time with cousins, Grandma and Grandpa, and the beautiful scenery Utah has to offer.
I have great memories of our summers.
Pickin' cherries from my Grandma's cherry tree, weeding her garden, watching sunrises and sunsets on her roof, cousin camp-outs in the backyard, sunrise hikes up the "G" mountain, runs to Carl's Jr...the list could go on and on.
I wish I could go back in time!
But I can't.
All I can do is hope and pray that my children have as good of memories in the summertime as I did.
And I think they will.
They are fortunate enough to see their cousins more than just every other summer.
What a gift that is!

So here's to the memories...
My mom and me in my Grandma's backyard. (Her garden is behind us).
Crazy cousin time. Me with my cousin Chris and Katie.
Cousin Carl's Jr. runs...Sean, you sure have changed!
The view from my Grandma's porch.
Cousin pyramid with the Browns.
