SO....my 26th birthday was approaching and honestly I had NO expectations for it. Being 9 months prego AND getting older seemed more depressing than ever (fat+old = not a good combo). Plus Kempton had work and school all day, so I was planning on veggin' it alone with the Caydster that day. No biggie. Little did I know two Laurels had other plans. While I was at my chiro appointment (seriously, that was going to be the highlight of my birthday...HA), they "broke" into my house and left me some flowers and goodies (my favorite...chocolate ice cream and almond M&M's) and cute notes that made me feel like gold. They also took pictures of themselves doing it with my camera...ha ha ha.
THEN Kempton surprised me and skipped his class that night and took me to a movie. When I got home, my visiting teacher had made me a homemade chocolate cake. It was awesome. I looked like booty (sorry for the heinous picture) and definitely ate WAY too much sugar, but it was a great birthday. I felt very loved.
And I can't forget last year, when these young women heart attacked my front door on my birthday. Seriously, you girls are the BEST!!!
